Making Time….

Hey Hey beautiful humans, Happy Tuesday. Today I just wanted to touch on the importance of making time for one self. I’ve had people(not 1 person but a few people) recently ask me how I manage to keep up my appearance with 3 kids. They compliment the fact that I always look nice and put together. I mean just because you have kids is everything about a person suppose to go down hill appearance wise? Umm I think not. Ladies and gentle just because you have kids does not mean you have to let your self go. Listen, taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your family. When you are happy they are happy. Its so easy to lose your self when you think you don’t have time. You have to make time, even if its only 30 minutes a week( yes a week, you want to keep your sanity right?) So, starting today start planning.

First and foremost my appearance has always been a big part of me and my personality. I like to look nice period point blank and just because I have kids that isn’t going to change( the only thing that changed is I schedule mandatory time for myself every week now). I get my hair and lashes done every two weeks and  If i’m going out I always make sure to look decent, you know? I like getting my nails done, but the way i like to change my nail color and do different things with them every other day, I’ve opted for doing them myself. ( Below I will explain what I use and how I maintain them)

As far as fashion goes, I love a good bargain but I like to splurge every once in awhile. When I dress i usually do high low, meaning my outfits are usually cheap as hell, mean while my bag and/or shoes will be designer(but not all the time). Let me let you in on a secret about me, my favorite store is Rainbow( I also shop at GoodWill, Target(, Forever21(, H&M(, TJ Maxx,Marshall’s, Ross, Burlington(, and just about any store I can find a deal. I will not buy anything retail unless I absolutely have to for a special occasion( thats rare). When shopping online I always google coupon codes for the store I am shopping(If they don’t have one or free shipping I usually wait until they do) I also use both EBATES ( and the DOSH ( to get cash back on my online and some in store purchases. (FYI: they give you money when you sign up, so go click the links and get your money) Save them coins girl!

DIY Nails

I have pretty good natural nails but when I get the urge to have longer nails that look like I got them done in a salon I opt for the good ole press on nails. You can find these at any beauty supply store or pharmacy and they come in different shapes, colors, and designs. The prices range from $2.99 to $10 depending on the ones you choose. What a way to save your coins rather then forking out $60 or more at the salon, right?! You’re welcome 🙂

I use Hair, Skin, & Nails by It Works to keep my nails healthy and strong! Click the link to order (

When I feel like having a gel mani I whip out these bad boys and bam I look like I stepped straight out of the salon.
