Time Flies….

Time flies when you’re having fun and enjoying the ride. Our twins are 5 months already and growing into their own little person. If I blink I’m gonna miss a lot. I won’t be able to hold them like babies anymore and they will be walking sooner than we know it and not want to be smothered by us anymore. Ok, maybe I’m being a little dramatic, but seriously can time stop moving so fast?!

As moms, and parents in general its a natural instinct to do for our children as they grow, but what some don’t do much of is living in the moment and enjoying every day, hour, minute, and second of their little ones lives. Yes, it’s easier said than done, and there is so much going on around us, but that’s where we have to take accountability and make sure we make adjustments to stop and smell the Lillie’s .(My favorite flowers)

Kaihlani-Skye, Baby A the oldest by 2 minutes( Poor Skylar will never hear the end of it) is the biggest sass I’ve ever met, I mean I’ve never met a baby with so much attitude and personality at such an early age. When strangers can pick up on her strong personality without us mentioning it, then you know she is going to give us a run for our money. I can only imagine how she will be as she gets older.(Hopefully it’s just a phase) She is her father, a true daddy’s girl, can’t sit still and needs to be on the go.

Skylar-Jae, Baby B. He is such a laidback baby with an old soul(we call him Popop). The sweetest little boy with the most contagious smile, a true mama’s boy and I love it! He loves his sister dearly even though she terrorizes him every second she gets.

They’re at a stage now doing something new everyday. They can sit up(with and without support), smiling and laughing all the time, eating solids, grabbing anything they can get their little hands on & now trying to crawl. I don’t want to miss a thing so I’m enjoying every moment and thanking God for choosing me to be their mother. I want to encourage all you moms, dads, and parents to be, to just live in the moment and don’t take anything for granted. Time is of the essence and is one thing you can never get back, so use your time wisely.
